§1 Commitment.
megapari.plus complies with applicable anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF) laws and regulations. We do not accept funds we know or have reasonable cause to suspect are the proceeds of crime or linked to terrorism. We verify customer identity, monitor transactions on an ongoing basis, and report suspicious activity to the competent authorities. Our policies and procedures are designed to meet the standards expected by our licence holder and regulators. We train staff on AML/CTF obligations and review our controls regularly.
§2 KYC.
We require identity verification (e.g. government-issued ID) and proof of address before processing withdrawals above defined thresholds. We may request source of funds or source of wealth information for higher-risk or large transactions. Failure to provide requested information within a reasonable time may result in account restriction, closure, or reporting to authorities. §3 Monitoring.
We monitor transactions and account behaviour for unusual patterns, including large or rapid movements of funds, use of multiple payment methods, or activity inconsistent with a customer's profile. Where we identify concerns, we may suspend the account and withhold funds pending internal investigation. We do not disclose the existence or details of ongoing investigations to the customer or third parties, except where required by law. Decisions to suspend or close accounts for AML reasons are made in line with our risk-based approach and regulatory obligations.
§4 Reporting.
We report suspicious activity to the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) or equivalent body in the relevant jurisdiction as required by law. Such reports are made in confidence. We do not inform the customer that a report has been submitted, as this could prejudice investigations or be illegal in some jurisdictions. We cooperate fully with law enforcement and regulators in connection with AML/CTF matters. Our staff are prohibited from tipping off customers or third parties about actual or potential reports.
